Caring for a Giclee Print

A giclee print is a high quality reproduction of an original work of art. Like any work of fine art on paper or canvas, a giclee print may be damaged if exposed over time to direct sunlight, or marked changes in humidity.

Customers are strongly urged to talk with their framers about framing particulars. It is advised that only acid-free materials be used, and (with giclees on paper) that consideration be given to the use of glass that affords maximum protection against ultra-violet rays. Giclees on canvas have been treated with a protective sealer to guard against contact with water. It is advised that appropriate framing be done as soon as possible after receipt of a giclee print.

Noyes Capehart will honor a 14-day return policy. If you are not completely satisfied with the condition of your giclee upon arrival, it may be returned at the sender’s expense for a full refund of the print cost. Noyes Capehart will not assume responsibility for the condition of a giclee print, or prints, after this 14-day period.
